Help around the workday

Four ways to make running the business easier.

01

Help customers choose you

Give someone who looks you up a clear reason to get in touch.

  • Your services and service area
  • Real job photos and customer reviews
  • A simple quote request and tap-to-call link

02

Keep up with new requests

Make connected website inquiries easier to handle while you’re on a job.

  • Customer and job details collected together
  • An acknowledgment with wording you approve
  • A notification so you know who needs a reply

03

Follow up on estimates

Keep an agreed reminder from becoming another task on your list.

  • Follow-up for estimates still marked open
  • Reminders stop when the customer replies or decides
  • Questions come back to you to handle

04

Reduce evening paperwork

Avoid typing the same customer details into several places.

  • Form details sent to a connected customer record
  • An agreed task created for the next step
  • Missing information flagged for you to check

Illustrative example

A quote request comes in while you’re on a job.

An example of a setup we can build. It is not a customer result or a live demonstration.

01

The customer sends the details

A connected website form asks for contact information and a short job description.

02

They know it arrived

Your approved acknowledgment confirms receipt without promising a price or appointment.

03

You receive the request

The details reach the agreed place, so you can call back when available.

04

You stay in charge

You qualify the job, prepare the estimate, and agree on timing. Any later reminders follow the rules you approved.

Choose your starting point

You don’t have to change everything.

Each option can be its own project. We explain the work, price, and any ongoing costs before you decide.

01

Start with a website

Build a professional place for customers to understand your work and request a quote.

  • Agreed pages and service descriptions
  • Your photos, reviews, and contact details
  • Mobile layout, form testing, and launch

02

Start with one automation

Choose one repeated task, such as inquiry handling or estimate follow-up.

  • Review of the tools you already use
  • Approved steps and message wording
  • Setup, testing, and a walkthrough

03

Start with a focused campaign

Promote one service when you have room for more work.

  • An agreed audience, area, and ad budget
  • Ads and a matching service page
  • Inquiry tracking and a review of recorded outcomes

You don’t need office staff or a particular customer-management system. We start with how you actually work.

What working together looks like

Explain the problem. We’ll work through the next steps.

01

Talk it through.

Show Chris how you handle the task today and where it gets frustrating. No technical explanation needed.

02

Choose a clear plan.

Get the proposed work, price, and what we need from you in plain language. You decide whether to go ahead.

03

Try it together.

We set up the agreed solution, test it, and walk you through the parts you will use. Support arrangements are clear before launch.

Someone you can talk to

Hi, I’m Chris.

Chris Ramsey, founder of First Motion Systems

I’m based on the Monterey Peninsula. My background combines business operations and software sales.

I have seen how much work falls on the person keeping everything moving. First Motion helps local owners put useful systems in place and understand what they are paying for.

You do not need a technical plan before we talk. Bring the task that keeps getting pushed to the end of your day.

Practical questions

You do not need to figure out the technology first.

I mostly use my phone. Can you still help?

Yes, that is a useful place to start. We look at how you already handle calls, messages, and appointments, then recommend a setup you can realistically use.

Do I need new software?

Not necessarily. We first look at what you already have. If another tool is needed, we explain why, what it costs, and what you would need to learn.

Can I start with just a website?

Yes. A website can be its own project. Other services are added only when they make sense for your business.

Will something send messages without my say-so?

You approve the wording and rules before an automated sequence goes live. We agree on when messages stop and when replies need your attention.

What if something stops working?

Before launch, we agree on who receives error notifications, what to do manually, and what support is included. Ongoing monitoring is scoped explicitly.

What does the free review include?

A 30-minute conversation, a look at your website if you have one and one selected task, and a one-page recap of up to three priorities. Detailed data analysis and implementation are separate paid work.
