Customer-price examples are informed by published contractor guides reviewed October 21, 2026. They are illustrative scenarios, not industry standards, local quotes or a statistical market average. July and August are fictional reporting periods, not historical pricing claims.

Demo revenue per visit
Assumed scope
Panel upgrade
$3,000–$5,000
200A, existing location; excludes trenching, relocation and major utility work.
One / two / three customer-supplied fixtures per visit, existing wiring, below 10 feet.
These sources describe different regions and scopes. Fuse Monterey publishes $2,000–$3,500 for a 200A upgrade, with additional work increasing cost. Service One Electric publishes $4,000–$6,000 for panel work including permits and wall restoration, $600–$3,000 for customer-supplied EV charger installation, and $225 for one fixture or $150 each for multiple fixtures. Astral Electrical publishes $1,200–$2,000 for a simple EV installation and $1,500–$3,000 for a typical run.
Cost assumptions: Labor, materials, other direct costs, advertising, lead counts and conversion rates are invented for this demo, not sourced benchmarks. The $65 loaded labor rate is an assumed internal cost per person-hour, not a customer billing rate. Other direct costs include illustrative permit/inspection allowances where relevant; no exact municipal fee is asserted. Revenue excludes sales tax and incentives. Equipment supplied by the customer is excluded from both job revenue and material costs.
Med-spa sample: assumptions and definitions
This is a fictional med spa, not Glacier Bar. Prices, product costs, provider rates, durations, advertising and client outcomes are invented teaching examples—not market averages, quotes or clinical guidance. The December 1, 2026 snapshot is a simulated future observation date so July and August clients have enough time for a 90-day return measure.
Three treatment examples: a 40-unit injectable visit ($520 list price), one RF microneedling session ($850), and a custom facial ($200). Initial discounts are $20, $50 and $0 respectively. Provider cost uses fictional loaded rates of $90, $80 and $40 per hour. Product usage and time records are complete in this sample; a real dashboard must flag missing costs.
Bookings & Follow-up shows first visits only. Treatment Profitability includes completed first and repeat visits through the snapshot. Returning Clients measures completed returns and revenue within 90 days of the first visit, using clients with a full observation window. These totals answer different questions and should not be expected to match.
All inquiries are new prospects from paid campaigns; consultations, self-bookings, referrals, packages and memberships are outside this first example. No refunds, sales tax or gratuities are modeled. Revenue represents delivered treatments, not cash collected. No clinical notes or patient data are shown.
Workflow references: Boulevard documents product usage, staff reporting and client retention. These references inform the types of records shown, not our sample amounts or claimed integrations.
Marketing joins spend and inquiries by campaign ID and inquiry month, then links jobs by lead ID. Profitability joins those completed jobs to timekeeping and expense records by job ID. All records are synthetic; this sample has no unmatched records.
HOW TO READ THIS EXAMPLE
Definitions before decisions.
One consistent cohort
Filters select July or August inquiries and campaign spend for those months. Outcomes follow those same prospects. Trade examples use a September 15 snapshot; the med-spa example uses a simulated December 1 snapshot for repeat visits. Each view states its revenue and observation window.
Revenue is not profit
Revenue is the recorded value of completed jobs or delivered treatments, not cash collected. Profitability subtracts direct labor, materials or consumables, and other direct expenses. Gross profit excludes general overhead, advertising and income taxes; it is not business net profit. Revenue divided by ad spend does not deduct costs.
Attribution is a reporting rule
Each inquiry has one assigned campaign in this sample. A real implementation must define attribution, handle repeat customers and surface unmatched records. Association does not establish incremental impact.
Refresh and access are scoped
This is a fixed demonstration. A production project agrees on refresh timing, source permissions, metric ownership and who can view the report.
